Caffeine can help with hair loss from aging, especially androgenetic alopecia (AGA), by functioning in two ways. First, caffeine promotes hair growth by increasing certain molecules in the body that stimulate follicle growth. It also blocks the effects a sex hormone called DHT which is known to shrink follicles. With both of these effects, caffeine can make hair grow thicker and faster.
